A Year at Solvaria: 2019

As we approach the final few days of our 22nd year in business, we are so thankful for our relationships with both new and long-term clients, friends and partners. A steadily busy and productive year, we have continued to experience growth in sales, staff and physical office space. Here's a look back on the highlights at Solvaria this in 2019:

We Were Named one of the Best Places to Work in Virginia: We happily celebrated being raked No.34 of Virginia's Best Places to Work in the small business category. Our second time on this list, Virginia Business Magazine hosts the statewide survey and awards program that is designed to identify, recognize and honor the best places of employment in Virginia, benefiting the state's economy, workforce and businesses.

We Expanded Our Sales Team and SQL Server Practice: Angel Smith joined Solvaria as Vice President of Client Engagement in June, and has brought her valuable experience to our business development and service delivery teams. To support our growing SQL Server practice, Ralph Mast and Ray Arieux were hired as Senior SQL Server DBAs.

We Achieved SOC II Certification for Data Security: Achieving this certification means additional security for our clients as our company’s internal security controls are now in accordance with the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants’ (AICPA) applicable Trust Services Principles and Criteria (TSPC).

We Were Named to the Inc. 5000 List of Fastest Growing Companies for the Third Time: For the third year in a row, Solvaria appeared on the Inc. 5000 list of Fasted Growing Companies in America, with a three-year revenue growth of 71 percent. We ranked No. 4,305 - up from 2018's rank of #4809.

We Expanded Our Office Space: To accommodate our growing staff, we expanded our Glen Allen headquarters. The new office space contains additional private offices and huddle rooms to complement the open concept design of the work space.

We Hosted Betting Big on Tech: Third Annual Charity Casino Night: We broke our fundraising record this year, donating more than $32,000 to CodeVA! We are very proud to continue hosting Betting Big on Tech, and bring Richmond's technology community together not only to have fun and network with friends, partners and colleagues, but also to support a great cause that impacts all of our businesses.

We want to thank you again for your support this past year. We’re looking forward to many more years of doing business together.

Happy New Year!
